Good habits

Adopt water-saving habits to preserve this precious resource and reduce your bill.

Turn off the tap

Savings: 12 L/min

Don't leave the water running while brushing your teeth or lathering up. Savings: up to 12 litres per minute.

Make it easier for ONEAD agents to access the meter

Savings: 100 L

A ONEAD agent is identified by a uniform, a vest, and a badge, as shown in the photo. The meter must be accessible at all times to facilitate any necessary ONEAD service calls.

I detect and repair water leaks as quickly as possible

Savings: 43 m³/year

It’s important to check the condition of your faucets regularly to prevent leaks and unnecessary water waste. It’s actually quite easy to detect a leak using your water meter. Simply turn off all faucets without closing the shut-off valve and see if the meter’s dial is still moving. If so, immediately check for leaks or contact our services. A dripping faucet wastes up to 120 liters per day, or 43 m³ per year.

Water wisely

Savings: 50%

Water in the evening or early morning to limit evaporation. Use a drip irrigation system.

Maintain the quality of stored water

Savings: 10 L

Protect it from dust and odors. Water keeps better when stored away from air and light in suitable containers. Clean the jug regularly to prevent the buildup of residues such as algae and limescale.
